A few of our customers have invited us to their farms to take a peek at how they uniquely run their oyster business.
We are inclined to do this project as a company to keep the conversation going about aquaculture - as we like to describe it, cradle-to-plate. What we’re learning is there are a lot of farmers out there working day to day, rain or shine in our estuary to bring to you the perfect oyster.
We think you’ll be pretty impressed to see how hard they work for it right here in Virginia, and we hope you’ll find that their story, in pursuit of one goal, is the culmination of all that we love and share about this culture. And that the perfect oyster is really the one whose entire story you can be proud of.
